It’s important to give students a chance to interact outside of the classroom and extracurricular activities and organizations are a great way to do that. Howell Cheney Technical High School has a wide range of options including everything from Student Council and National Honor Society to SkillsUSA.

Dungeons and Dragons
Join your fellow adventurers on Mondays and Wednesdays after school from 2:00-3:30 to partake in Dungeons & Dragons Club. Playing D&D is a great way to build valuable skills such as teamwork, creative problem-solving, leadership, and more! We welcome new and seasoned players.
All who attend must first sign and return this permission slip. Please make sure your rides arrive promptly at 3:30 for pick up.
The National Art Honor Society at Cheney Tech is a program designed to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art.
National Honor Society
The National Honor Society is an organization promoting recognition for students with outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership and service.
Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society is the only national organization for high school juniors and seniors that recognizes excellence in the field of Social Studies.
SkillsUSA

Student Council
The Student Council represents the voice of the students in the democratic management of student affairs at Cheney Technical High School. It is the organization through which the administration, faculty and staff as well as the student body cooperate in addressing the concerns of the school.
Yearbook
The Yearbook is a book published each year by the graduating class of Cheney Tech Technical High School that contains photographs of Cheney Tech students that commemorate them and school activities during the school year. They interact with the yearbook publisher and website as well as layout and edit the pages of the book. Students are selected for membership based upon previous experience with the yearbook committee and their ability to handle additional rigor beyond their normal class workload.
